Xiaomi EV, Xiaomi’s electric vehicle division, is establishing its flagship showroom in Shanghai’s Pudong New Area, strengthening its position in the city’s thriving EV market.
As reported by Cnevpost, Xiaomi EV has recently secured a property lease with a Shanghai Waigaoqiao Group subsidiary to establish its flagship showroom in the third phase of the Waigaoqiao Xin Park campus. The Pudong New Area government declared the development on Saturday.
With a floor area exceeding 15,000 square meters, the project is set to officially launch in October 2025.

Situated next to the Porsche China training center and the Waigaoqiao Tesla Center, the showroom will serve multiple purposes, including vehicle displays, test rides, test drives, deliveries, and after-sales repairs, as stated in the announcement.
Xiaomi EV will then join Shanghai Waigaoqiao Automotive Industrial Park, home to the world’s largest Audi flagship center, China’s most extensive all-in-one Tesla Center, the country’s largest BMW flagship center, and its first Lincoln global flagship center.
The company presently operates a delivery center in Songjiang, located in the western region of Shanghai, along with about 20 sales outlets across the city.

Shanghai is among China’s most EV-friendly mega-cities, providing free green license plates to buyers of battery electric vehicles (BEVs). In contrast, those looking to register a conventional gasoline-powered vehicle must participate in an auction to secure a blue license plate.
Xiaomi EV introduced its first model, the SU7 electric sedan, on March 28, 2024. later, on February 27, the company unveiled the SU7 Ultra, an enhanced version of the SU7 with a maximum horsepower of 1,548 Ps.
On May 1, Xiaomi EV reported delivering more than 28,000 units in April, continuing its streak of seven consecutive months with monthly deliveries exceeding 20,000 units.
