Toyota’s Indiana facility has reached a major milestone, rolling out its one-millionth hybrid vehicle—a 2025 Toyota Sienna Platinum—at its Princeton manufacturing plant.
The North American division of the Japanese automaker Toyota has declared that its Princeton manufacturing facility has reached the production of its one-millionth hybrid vehicle, a 2025 Wind Chill Pearl Toyota Sienna Platinum.
Since becoming an all-hybrid model in 2003, the Sienna has exemplified Toyota’s dedication to electrification, backed by a workforce of over 7,600 employees.
The newest Sienna is a fully hybrid minivan, delivering an EPA-estimated 36 mpg combined. Featuring a refreshed interior for comfort and practicality, it remains a preferred choice for families. Its strong reputation was further reinforced after leading the minivan segment in the 2025 J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Study.

Toyota Indiana President Jason Puckett acknowledged the milestone, emphasizing the company’s commitment to electrification. “The all-hybrid Sienna reflects our dedication to sustainable mobility and remains one of Toyota’s top-selling vehicles,” he said. This achievement underscores Toyota’s focus on eco-friendly transportation solutions.
In May, Sienna sales surged by more than 95% year-over-year, reflecting growing demand for hybrid vehicles. Electrified models accounted for nearly half of Toyota’s total sales that month, affirming the company’s commitment to carbon neutrality.
Toyota views the achievement as a key step in its transition to electrified powertrains. With a goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, the company is steadily expanding its lineup of hybrid and low-emission vehicles to advance sustainability efforts. Starting in spring 2025, Toyota will launch automotive battery production for electrified vehicles at its North Carolina facility. The company currently provides a lineup of 32 electrified models.
