Aston Martin has introduced the DBX S, a cutting-edge, high-performance SUV set to succeed the DBX707 in its lineup. With amplified performance, refined dynamics, and optional lightweight features, the DBX S sets new benchmarks in the luxury segment.
The DBX S retains its Mercedes-AMG-sourced 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine. Inspired by the Valhalla supercar, turbocharger upgrades boost its output to 717 bhp—20 bhp more than the DBX707—and deliver 900 Nm of torque. A key update includes larger compressor wheel diameters in the turbochargers. Aston Martin states that the DBX S can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 3.3 seconds and is now 0.3 seconds faster to 124 mph compared to the DBX 707.

In terms of design, the DBX S introduces a range of updates, including a black vaned grille, a redesigned front splitter, side sills, a rear diffuser, and vertically stacked quad exhaust outlets. Additional touches include optional carbon-fiber accents and new paint options such as Rosso Corsa Red, Trophy Silver, and Podium Green.
The DBX S includes a standard 14-speaker audio system, with an optional 23-speaker Bowers & Wilkins upgrade for superior sound. Red seatbelts and embroidered ‘S’ logos on the engine plaque, seats, and door sills emphasize its sporty character.

The engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, recalibrated for faster gear changes, particularly in Sport and Sport+ modes. The all-wheel-drive system, inherited from the DBX707, is capable of directing 100% of torque to the rear axle. Additionally, the SUV continues to feature carbon-ceramic brakes and adaptive air suspension.
Aston Martin has adjusted the steering ratio, making it 4% faster for improved responsiveness. The change, according to the automaker, reduces the turning radius by approximately 1.6 feet, boosting maneuverability in urban settings.
The Aston Martin DBX S will be the only variant in the lineup, with international bookings underway and deliveries anticipated to start by Q4 2025.
