Cinemo, a global pioneer in high-performance multimedia and connectivity solutions for the automotive sector, has been selected by India’s top SUV manufacturer, Mahindra, to deliver advanced infotainment capabilities for its upcoming range of electric SUVs (eSUVs). The collaboration is formed for redefining in-car entertainment through the integration of personal smart devices.
Mahindra’s new electric SUVs, built on the modular INGLO platform and powered by its proprietary Mahindra Artificial Intelligence Architecture (MAIA), will incorporate Cinemo’s CARS Connect Suite. This technology enables ‘bring-your-own-device’ (BYOD) functionality, allowing passengers to connect, control, and consume media using their personal smartphones and tablets. The partnership underscores Mahindra’s commitment to offering premium, tech-forward features that enhance the overall driving and passenger experience.

Cinemo CARS Connect creates a seamless and interactive digital media ecosystem inside the vehicle. It allows users to manage media playback, share audio and video content across multiple devices, and control various functions of the vehicle, all from their own smart devices. Multi-zone audio capabilities ensure personalized sound environments for each passenger, eliminating interference and enhancing enjoyment. The result is a highly individualized, engaging, and distraction-free entertainment experience.
The implementation of Cinemo’s suite was completed in just six months, demonstrating both companies’ dedication to rapid innovation and integration of cutting-edge technology. Designed for Android Automotive OS (AAOS), Cinemo’s middleware offers robust performance and quick scalability for next-generation infotainment systems.

By integrating this advanced infotainment solution, Mahindra positions itself at the forefront of digital mobility in India and Southeast Asia. The initiative not only strengthens its eSUV portfolio but also caters to evolving consumer expectations for smarter, more immersive in-car experiences.
Cinemo expressed pride in the partnership, with Director of Portfolio Management Abe Silhan stating, “We are delighted to bring our renowned digital media experiences to India’s leading SUV manufacturer. This collaboration continues our pursuit of groundbreaking innovation in in-car infotainment.”
